Summer Time!

I'm averaging about two months between posts, so I figured it was that time again.

Summer has officially begun. I've worked a little bit at my "new job" which would be at the mall at CJ Banks. I love it so much...it's so mindless, and the people are fabulous and I get a 50% discount on clothes, which is the best/worst thing in the world. I've already spent pretty much my whole first pay check.

I'm going to a conference on Thurday, then another one on Monday/Tuesday. Then I start my tech classes on June 6th. That will be mucho exciting-they are paying me to sit and play on the computer for 5 hours a day. Not too shabby, eh?

Other than that, the summer should be pretty chill. Amanda's wedding coming up in 18 days, which will be exciting, and the bachelorette party in 11 days, which will be super fun!

I'm going to be an aunt again, which is SUPER EXCITING! The second Baby O is due Dec. 24th, which means I will most likely get to be home for the birth!!! YAY!

My 2-year anniversary is coming up in two weeks. I can't believe it's been 2 years. The 2nd year for us was actually much harder than the first...the first was a cake walk. I think this year was so much harder because of all the changes...we got a new house, I got a new job, Andy's classes got mucho harder, we got a dog and a car...lots of changes. But we have persevered!

And that is all. I better include a picture or it is possible that nobody will ever read my site ever again.

This is my familia. Aren't we purty? Soon to be one more...Wendy you better get that van or we won't be able to go anywhere together...

I guess it's time to update.

Spring Break was good...relaxing and good. We got a bunch of things done around the house. I got to spend mucho time with my husband and play with my dog a lot. I got to see my family. All very good.

Now comes the push to the end of the year...41 days left when we get back. I hope I can make it.  This summer will be glorious!

2007!!!

I can't believe it's 2007 already. I think I say that every year, but really...I started my first grown-up job this year, and the year's already halfway done? What? Can I just say that I LOVE it. People always ask me how it's going or if I like teaching and I always just say "I love it," because it's so hard to sum up everything in less than a half an hour to an hour long talk. But I do. I love my kids, I love my co-workers, I love my principal, I love our school, I love the fact that my kids have made progress (I was really fearing that I would be completely inadequate and my kids would show zero gain), I love the fact that I feel like I know what I'm doing.

This year started off a little rough...Andy's grandpa has had two mini-strokes in the past three days. The doctor put him on meds but said he will probably continue to have mini-strokes until he finally has one big one. So we are all pretty much just waiting for him to have a stroke, which sucks. Especially for Andy's grandma. Please pray.

Other than that, I can't complain. I'm relaxed, I joined a gym!!! Pretty pumped about that-I can make my long time resolution a reality now. So that's good.

Goals for this year:
-work out at least 4-5 times a week
-organize our office
-save for bedroom furniture
-pay off a credit card
